Can I Use My Phone to Control My Gate Opener?

Simply download the myQ app on your device. The cloud-based software allows you to add and manage multiple devices with myQ technology. With myQ technology, you can control your gate opener and many other compatible devices from the convenience of your phone or computer, no matter where you are. Many of the LiftMaster gate openers offered at Simple Gate Opener are myQ compatible, but you can also add myQ to an existing gate opener. myQ Connectivity

When you download the myQ app on your devices, you must make an account and determine how you will be using the app. Then, follow the prompted instructions to connect your devices. There are several ways to use the application: manage one device, create an “ecosystem" of devices, or create a community. Managing one or a few devices is referred to as myQ Smart Home. Connecting several devices will create an ecosystem of devices, which can be managed with myQ Smart Access. To manage and control devices across multiple locations, you must upgrade to myQ Community. There is also myQ Facility for businesses.
