This gate opener arm is for gates up to 16 feet and 850 pounds. Plus, since the LiftMaster LA400DC actuator follows the most stringent UL 325 industry guidelines, you can rest assured that your gate will follow protocol when installed with the proper photo-eye.
To improve things, the heavy-duty cast-aluminum housing DC motor is powerful and has a soft start/stop operation. Since this system is solar-ready and can be installed with not included solar panels, you may qualify for an additional 22% solar tax credit.
