The Liftmaster RPM Sensor kit is meant to be used with your Liftmaster Gate openers. An RPM Sensor is meant to detect the motor speed of whatever it is housed in such as garage door openers, gate openers, and swinging barriers. It's a critical tool in making sure that an entry way is fully opened as a non-operating RPM Sensor will only allow any given barrier to move just a few inches at a time. This Kit is primarily meant to be used as a replacement kit for a failing or suboptimal RPM Sensor and is installed by simply clipping the sensor into the old location and simply plugging it in.
